Johnny Manuel é originalmente do Michigan (EUA) e tem sido artista desde criança. Com 14 anos já andava em tour com os N*SYNC.
O letrista Trey Campbell é um dos compositores por detrás de Bones, o que lhe confere um lugar especial nos Equinox.
