Christabelle nasceu em 1992. Já apresentou programas infanto-juvenis, mas depois decidiu dedicar-se à sua carreira enquanto cantora, participando em diversos programas de talentos, como o Junior Eurovision Song Contest e F.I.D.O.F. em Louisiana, EUA.
Nos últimos sete anos, Christabelle trabalhou com vários produtores norte-americanos e ingleses em algumas músicas como I Wanna Know, Flame, Naturally, Every Time I Bleed, Everything About You, Say, e Fall for You. Muitas delas conseguiram chegar ao topo das tabelas locais e a cantora ganhou mesmo oito Bay Music Awards.
Foi considerada três vezes no Top 10 da seleção nacional maltesa: em oitavo lugar em 2014 com a canção Lovetricity, em segundo em 2015 com Rush, e quarto em 2016 com Kingdom.
Taboo conquistou o televoto e o público na seleção nacional, graças a uma performance incrível que pôs a discussão das doenças mentais na ordem do dia em Malta.
A cantora tornou-se inclusive embaixadora da Fundação de Bem-Estar da Sociedade no que diz respeito à saúde mental. O objetivo é continuar a chamar a atenção para o assunto, com o qual Christabelle se identifica por ela própria ter passado pelo mesmo em alguns momentos da sua vida. Para além desta causa, a cantora é uma forte defensora dos direitos LGBTIQ+, já que, como explicou, considera que ninguém deve ser perseguido ou descriminado por amar outro ser humano.
