Os vencedores dos MTV VMA 2013

A abertura ficou a cargo da excêntrica e sempre inesperada Lady Gaga, que mudou várias vezes de indumentária durante a sua atuação em palco, sem nunca parar de cantar o seu mais recente single “Applause”.

Inesperada tornou-se também Miley Cyrus. A ex-estrela da Disney, que dava corpo à inocente Hannah Montana, já não tem nada de inocente. No web, repetem-se já os gifs, os vídeos e as fotografias que documentam um dos momentos de Miley nos VMA’s com Robin Thicke.

Kanye West também fez parte do alinhamento de atuações da cerimónia deste ano, tal como Drake, o duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – que se estrearam na gala da MTV com o tema “Same Love”, cujo vídeo ganhou um prémio – e Cassidy.

Justin Timberlake apresentou uma atuação de 15 minutos, onde cantou e dançou ao som de um medley com alguns dos êxitos da sua carreira… e onde os outros elementos dos extintos ‘NSYNC fizeram uma participação especial. Bruno Mars cantou o tema “Gorilla”, o seu novo single, em estreia absoluta em televisão.

Katy Perry encerrou os MTV VMA 2013, com o seu novo single “Roar”.

Tanto Justin Timberlake como o Duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, nomeados para seis prémios cada um, levaram para casa três Moonman. Mas com Justin Timberlake a ter sido homenageado com o “Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award”, a vantagem foi claramente do cantor pop.
