Synopsis
After her mother’s death, Joana’s life changes overnight. Her father remarries Mónica, and soon an older half-sister moves into the house. What should have been a fresh start becomes a nightmare. Joana is mistreated but keeps silent—until Simão enters her life and begins to see what others refuse to notice. As tensions grow and rivalries ignite, Joana uncovers a terrifying secret: Mónica is planning to murder her father to claim the inheritance. Desperate to stop it, Joana tries to warn him, but no one believes her. Forced to run, fight, and resist, she joins forces with Simão to expose the truth. In the end, the conspiracy is revealed, her father is saved, and the house that once felt like a trap finally becomes a refuge.
