Synopsis

Rúben, Leonor, Tiago and André share a house in Lisbon—not because they want to, but because they have no choice. The housing crisis has forced them together, and friendship was never part of the arrangement. When Tiago suddenly dies of a heart attack, panic sets in. Tiago was the landlady’s favorite—and the only reason she hadn’t turned the apartment into a profitable short-term rental. Facing eviction, the three roommates hatch a desperate plan: pretend Tiago is still alive. They answer messages in his name, invent routines, and stage fake outings. But the lie spirals out of control when the suspicious landlady starts dropping by more often—and the quiet Polish neighbor seems to be watching everything. He claims he doesn’t speak Portuguese… but maybe he understands more than he lets on. As the scheme grows increasingly absurd, one thing becomes clear: managing a dead roommate might be harder than living with him.
