Synopsis
Abel, a renowned and respected lawyer from Faro, is hired by a Real Estate Fund to buy the entire Faro Island to develop a luxury resort there. However, there is an obstacle: an old fisherman, owner of a famous beach restaurant, refuses to sell, and the other island inhabitants follow his lead. Two different visions of what the Algarve should be will clash: easy and quick money versus the preservation of the environment.
One day, Abel appears dead on his sailboat under mysterious circumstances and the Police begin to investigate…
